In 2005 we entered the world of residential block management when there was very little competition and little customer service. We exited in 2022 when there was more competition but still little customer service. We now come back into the industry when there is even more competition and yet still, in our experience, a lack of customer service. Our mission in 2005 was and still is “Setting new standards” in property management.

We are an independent, family run, company that is dedicated to residential block & estate management throughout Eastbourne and surrounding areas. From small converted two-flat properties to multi-storey apartment blocks, we work with freeholders, Limited and right-to-manage companies, residential associations, and developers, taking over the burden and responsibility of the efficient day-to-day maintenance and management of your building and its grounds. Over the years we have earned a solid reputation for our professional and personal attention along with our track record for a prompt and efficient response to client's requirements.

At Mango Insurance and at my previous employment, I have dealt with Peter and the Team for quite a number of years including with his original Property Management Company Sanders Property Management and in recent years Ginger and Sanders Sales and Lettings.

The Team are always very prompt with their answers when we have queries and always quick with assisting with claims meaning that claims could be settled promptly and efficiently over the years by ensuring all estimates and photos etc were available as soon as possible.  Our Invoices were also always paid promptly.

What is residential management?

As block or estate managing agents we look after the day to day running of the site covering items such as the collection of service charges and ground rent to organising the cleaning of communal hallways, ground maintenance and ensuring the insurance covers the client correctly.

How do I know my property/estate is in safe hands?

We are a family run business that look after your property/estate and grounds and if they were our own.

What will be the cost to manage our site?

We price all sites individually so the cost is fair to you, the client, and us, the agent.

Is it easy to swap to you being our agent?

This is something Director’s fret about but do not worry once you have given notice to your existing agent (who usually require three months’ notice) we can take it from there and ensure everything is handed over and dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

How will our funds be held?

Each client has a designated client account(s) in the name of your management company or property. These accounts are reconciled each month by Lisa.

Can you act as our Company Secretary?

This is a role Peter can take on, if required to do so.

Do you complete the LPE1 pack for sales and purchases?

Yes, this is complete by Peter due to his vast experience and knowledge in such matters.

Who do you use for maintaining the building/estate?

We have a large database of trusted local contractors we have used for years and so give an excellent service at a competitive price.

The key to our success

The key to our success to date has been open communication with clients and tenants; a fair pricing policy that looks after the best interest of both parties, and importantly, our determination to build strong working relationships with both clients and contractors alike.

As an independent company we can offer a slightly more flexible service than other managing agents. Our office hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with an emergency only service for any other time.
