The Chaseley Trust has been part of the Eastbourne seafront since 1946 - not just as a care home, but as a vibrant and welcoming community. Originally founded to care for military personnel with brain and spinal injuries after WWII, we continue that legacy today by supporting adults aged 18 and over living with complex neurodisabilities, including Acquired Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s.
We focus on helping individuals live full, independent lives - whatever their challenges. Our care is personalised, our support is lifelong, and our goal is always to promote independence and dignity.
We support around 55 residents each year, along with many others from the local area who use our outpatient gym and neurophysiotherapy services. Feedback from residents, families, and clients often highlights improved physical strength, renewed confidence, and a better quality of life.
We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers. Whether it’s helping with art, gardening, music, cooking, or simply sitting and chatting with a resident, our volunteers bring life, laughter and warmth into our home. If you’d like to join our volunteer team, please email hr@chaseleytrust.org.

At Chaseley, everyone is part of the story - residents, staff, volunteers, families, and our wider community. We’d love you to be part of it too.
