There is no better way to spend a sunny May afternoon than at the horses. So, James, Adam, Lisa, Peter and colleagues did exactly that. Plumpton Racecourse is a great local track that is easy to get to via train and always puts on a good spread in any of their boxes. Half the attendees ended the day with more than they started but Peter lost everything but his shirt!
This event was the Grand Finale for the season or otherwise known as “Ladies Day” and so gave the females amongst us the chance to get glammed up and they all looked fabulous.
The surrounding and cuisine were to the usual high standard, and everyone had a great time whether they won or lost on the seven races experienced.
